Effective date: July 21, 2026

This Refund Policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for HomeTunnel subscriptions. It is incorporated into the HomeTunnel Terms and Conditions by reference and forms part of your agreement with HomeTunnel Inc. (“HomeTunnel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Capitalized terms have the meaning given in the Terms and Conditions.

1. Try before you pay

Both HomeTunnel plans include a 14-day free trial on monthly billing so you can evaluate the Services before you are charged.

  • Payment information is required to start the trial.
  • Only one trial is permitted per HomeTunnel account.
  • If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged and no refund is necessary.
  • If you do not cancel, the trial converts into the selected paid monthly subscription and billing begins.

Because the trial lets you evaluate the Services in full before payment, most refund requests can be avoided by cancelling during the trial.

2. Merchant of record

Paddle acts as merchant of record for eligible HomeTunnel purchases made through the website. This means Paddle is the seller of record and handles checkout, payment processing, taxes, invoices, refunds, chargebacks, and buyer payment support.

Refunds are issued through Paddle to the original payment method. Paddle’s own buyer terms and refund policy, which you accept at checkout, also apply to your transaction. Where those terms provide a broader remedy than this policy, the broader remedy applies.

3. Monthly subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions are billed at the start of each monthly period.

  • You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops the next renewal and your access continues until the end of the current paid period.
  • Because a 14-day trial is available before any monthly charge, monthly subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a period has been billed, except as required by applicable law or as described in Section 5.
  • Cancelling does not automatically create a partial-period credit or refund; you keep access until the period you already paid for ends.

4. Annual subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are billed once for a full year and do not include a trial.

  • 14-day money-back guarantee. If you purchase an annual subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the initial charge for that annual term. This guarantee applies to the first purchase of an annual term, not to automatic annual renewals.
  • After the 14-day window, annual fees are generally non-refundable for the remainder of the term, except as required by applicable law or as described in Section 5. You may still cancel to stop the next annual renewal; access continues until the end of the paid term.
  • For an automatic annual renewal, if you contact us promptly after the renewal charge, we may, at our discretion, cancel the renewed term and issue a refund where the Services have not been substantially used during the renewed term.

5. Billing errors, service failures, and discretionary refunds

We want billing to be fair. We will review refund requests and may issue a refund, in full or in part, in situations that include:

  • a duplicate charge or a demonstrable billing error;
  • a charge made after a valid cancellation was completed;
  • a paid feature or plan that was purchased but could not be delivered because of a fault on HomeTunnel’s side; or
  • other circumstances we consider reasonable in good faith.

Refunds granted at our discretion in one case do not create an obligation to grant a refund in any other case.

6. What refunds do not do

  • A refund does not automatically delete your HomeTunnel account or your configuration. To delete your account, follow the account-deletion process in the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
  • A refund of a subscription charge ends the paid entitlement it relates to. When paid entitlement ends, HomeTunnel may restrict homes, devices, routes, and route distribution as described in the Terms and Conditions.
  • Taxes are handled by Paddle. Any tax adjustment associated with a refund is processed by Paddle in accordance with applicable law.

7. Chargebacks and payment disputes

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first so we can help. Opening a chargeback or payment dispute before contacting us can result in your subscription being restricted or suspended while the dispute is investigated, and does not automatically cancel your underlying HomeTunnel account.

Initiating fraudulent or abusive payment disputes is a breach of the Terms and Conditions and may result in suspension or termination.

8. How to request a refund

You can request a refund or cancel in the following ways:

  • cancel a subscription through the HomeTunnel billing page or the Paddle customer or buyer portal, where available;
  • request a refund by emailing support@hometunnel.io from the email address associated with your account; or
  • use another method identified by HomeTunnel or Paddle.

Please include your account email, the approximate date of the charge, and a short description of your request. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and ownership of the account before processing a refund.

9. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy removes or limits any refund, withdrawal, cancellation, or other consumer remedy that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law. Where mandatory law provides a remedy greater than this policy, that law prevails.

10. Changes to this Refund Policy

HomeTunnel may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a revised effective date, and, where required, we will provide additional notice. The Refund Policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
